Carotid Artery Catheters for Rats

Instech’s rat carotid artery catheters (CACs) use 3Fr polyurethane that has been specially extruded for an ideal fit with 22ga PinPorts™ and Vascular Access Buttons™. The straight 2Fr catheters connect to 25ga PinPorts or VABs; two-piece catheters transition to 3Fr for 22ga connectors. (In general, straight catheters are preferred because they are more reliable and less expensive to manufacture.)
