The Home Cage Motion detector is an affordable solution that uses infrared light to detect gross motor activity of animals within the cage without disturbing the subjects.

As an affordable gross activity monitoring solution, the Home Cage Motion detector uses infrared light and can detect gross motor activity of animals within the cage without disturbing the subjects. The sensor interfaces through DP1224 “Data Port” boxes connected via USB to a PC running VitalView Activity Software.
