ABS Rack System
We can configure rack systems to hold multiple ABS units and cages. The 6ft rack shown here can hold 10 or 12 ABS2 units and cages, depending on the space needed between units. Also available in 5ft (8 or 10 units), 4ft (6 or 8 units) and 3ft (4 or 6 units) configurations.
Including the computer shelf on the side, the system measures 78in high x 88in wide x 30in deep (24in of shelf space plus 6in for power strip and cords). The samplers sit on removable polypropylene shelves with holes for the fluid line to pass to the animal shelf below.
Swivels are mounted in lever arms that are attached to the underside of the shelves. Saline bags hang from hooks on the shelf above the samplers.
A shelf with power strip holds a laptop with the ABS control software.
The entire rack system is on wheels so that it can be easily moved around the lab. The bottom shelf is open to hold supplies and an uninterruptible power supply.
Power strips are included on the rear of the rack. Cables are routed neatly with cable ties.
