AcqKnowledge Research Ring Software can interface up to nine rings per computer and import data acquired from the phone app to the cloud into AcqKnowledge—installation also provides a single license for Basic Scripting and Workflow drag-and-drop automation.

The Research Ring is a revolutionary research platform that enables the capture of high-quality data from numerous physiological signals on a single, small, user-friendly device. Research-grade in a friendly consumer form factor, the Research Ring collects electrodermal activity (EDA, aka GSR) data, pulse (with an optical sensor), temperature, and electrocardiogram (ECG). In addition to being a stand-alone research tool, the Research Ring can also be used with AcqKnowledge software for in-lab applications.

Use AcqKnowledge Research Ring Software to support up to nine rings, via Bluetooth, with a single instance of AcqKnowledge. Users with more than nine rings can add additional software to install on additional computers at discounted prices when purchased at the same time:

Use Scripting/Workflow to eliminate repetitive and monotonous tasks that lead to errors and short cuts. Increased consistency and reproducibility will improve the quality of data generated from each experiment.

Create fully automated analysis routines and combine several complex tasks into one simple routine. Scripting/Workflow can be used with all of the AcqKnowledge analysis routines to customize and expand them further. The AcqKnowledge analysis routines provide useful building blocks for creating further analysis routines. Scripting/Workflow commands are documented in the online reference library.

Scripting/Workflow Automation not only allows control of the software display and AcqKnowledge functions, it also allows the addition of customized messages and prompts. Create a standardized procedure and document it so customized instructions will pop up to inform users when they have to perform a task, or when something is taking place. Extremely useful for automating and guiding the calibration process. Add automated prompts and instructions to simplify the protocol and provide additional guidance.

Customer created or modified Scripting and Workflow routines can only be used on computers with an AcqKnowledge Scripting/Workflow license.
