Description

RWD offer a comprehensive range of rat adaptors to convert stereotaxic instruments for use with rats for different experriment requirements.

68021 Rat Adaptor Holds rat head firmly through incisor, nose clip and ear bars. This adaptor can be adjusted 30mm vertically along a dovetail slidewith 100µm resolution, and 50mm horizontally, whihch makes it applicable for rats of different weight. (Note: ear bars are not included)
68053 Rat Anaesthesia Adaptor This adaptor integrates the gas anaesthesia mask function while holding the head firmly. The adaptor can rotate the head to multiple angles without blocking the anaesthetic gas delivery. Vertical adjustable range: 30mm (-20mm – +10mm), with 100µm accuracy. Vertical rotation range: 70° (-35° – +35°), with 5° accuracy. Horizontal rotation range: 70° (-35° – +35°), with 5° accuracy. Horizontal adjustable range: 43.5m.
68011 MRI Rat Adaptor (customised) This adaptor is designed for MRI equipment, with special materials to avoid magnetic interference. The fixation of the animal is convenient and stable. Size: 360mm (L) x 125mm (W) x 96mm (H)
68022 Rat Adaptor – Aural (customised) This adaptor is designed for auditory research. Instead of holding the rat head by ear bars and incisors, it holds the head firmly by orbital approach to ensure auditory stimulation is not blocked. This type of device is currently only available from RWD.
68063 Rat Rotation Adaptor This adaptor is specifically designed for some special applications. The head of the rat will be fixed by a pair of ear bars, nose and incisors, and can be rotated accoding to the experimental requirements to facilitate the operation of different parts of the rat head in different directions.
