Syringes Prefilled with Sterile Saline
For Laboratory Animal Research
Isotonic saline without heparin is needed for checking catheter patency, drawing blood samples and for fluid replacement. Bags of pharmaceutical-grade saline are readily available; however, maintaining the sterility of the saline in the bag over time, and filling syringes under strict aseptic conditions can be challenging in many lab settings.
We fill high-quality BD® syringes with sterile 0.9% saline following the USP standard for compounding sterile preparations. The syringe tips are sealed to keep the contents sterile.
If you will be accessing Instech Vascular Access Buttons™ or PinPorts™, choose syringes with the needle free PNP3M injectors already installed.
