Product EnquiryAPEX is the 24 or 32 channel, wearable, wireless EEG amplifier from TSMi that delivers high-quality EEG signals for your research. It has a compact and lightweight design, giving you the freedom to record measurements anywhere. The APEX is also user-friendly and can be paired with various types of TMSi’s EEG accessories to use in a wide range of applications.
Features
EEG only measurement | Record 24 or 32 channels of high-quality EEG signals effortlessly with a compact and lightweight design. APEX captures full-band EEG characteristics, with an analogue bandwidth of DC to 350 Hz. Reference channels can be customized, from all channels (average) to a single channel.
Easy To Configure | APEX has an intuitive physical user interface design. LED indicators to visualize the stability of the headcap and PC connection and to check the recording status and battery life. The physical buttons allow you to power the device on or off, mark events, and start and stop a card recording.
Wearable and Flexible | You can choose to use APEX in a wired or wireless configuration. Connect the device with a PC or via Bluetooth for stable mobile recordings anywhere. Alternatively, record up to 50 recordings on the onboard memory. APEX comes with a wearable cradle with adjustable straps that can be easily worn around the hip, shoulder, or anywhere else on the body. With these options, APEX gives you the flexibility you need for your research.
State-of-the-art Accessories | APEX can be used with TMSi’s accessories with active shielding technology. This includes gel caps (both integrated and with ring electrodes), water-based electrode caps, and cEEgrids can be used – giving you many options.
Wide Range of Application | APEX is very suitable for mental workload, cognitive performance, social interaction, and, to some extent, robotic control research.Think of hyperscanning, neurofeedback, the development of methods to detect neurological conditions, and sleep studies.
Aside from providing inputs to record data from an EEG headcap, APEX also comes with a 4-bit trigger connector, making it an ideal measurement solution for the recording of Event-Related Potentials. |
|
Data and Impedance In One | APEX can record sample and impedance data simultaneously. With the impedance data, APEX provides you with feedback on the headcap connection quality throughout the measurement—allowing you to record worry-free.
Easy to Use Software | Direct interfacing of APEX to the Python programming language, which is continuously being developed and improved. It is Open Source and integrates with many processing, visualization, and workflow libraries available. |
APEX can be used for electrophysiological research in numerous fields such as:
